I decided to change my approach and try to communicate with him today. We just talked via text but he did it AGAIN, total punch in the gut. I was trying to get him to make plans together and told him I was just looking to unwind and chill because I’ve been stressed and being home all the time by myself has been getting to me. He told me I should think about getting out of town and told me that he actually did a few weeks ago (you were right that he’d say that) with some chick he met on Bumble - turns out he’s sleeping with his neighbor. He went out of town with her the weekend he told me he was at the beach and his phone died when I invited him over for dinner. He was in the desert with her, not the beach. The weekend that we last spoke. It all makes sense now! Update: I sent him a text this morning that I’ve tried really hard to go with the flow but it’s time for me to communicate better and make some changes. I need to focus more on myself.
